Schizophrenia And Neuroleptics: Atypical Versus Typical

Treatments include aspects such as development of relationships and regimen, support networks and relapse prevention. Symptoms of schizophrenia increase with stress and/or substance and alcohol use. Recent treatments have also included holistic methods which involve those closely affiliated with schizophrenic patients and it helps in regards to personal and public support and understanding. Success stories of schizophrenics leading “normal” lives have been increasing but with the realization that those who suffer from schizophrenia are constantly aware of the delicate balance and strict regimen they require in order to prevent relapse.
